Why Exhibit?
In a crowded calendar of entertainment technology conventions and trade shows, Showlight is both unique and special. A small supporting exhibition runs alongside the full and varied programme of presentations, offering the following benefits to exhibitors:
Focused audience
This not-for-profit colloquium is organised by international lighting professionals, all of whom are volunteers, for lighting professionals, which is reflected in our global audience. Showlight encompasses the disciplines of theatre, television, film, concert, event and architectural lighting. Attendees include some of lighting’s most famous names, high profile theatre consultants and full-time lighting students – the next generation of our profession. We anticipate that lighting practitioners from some 20 countries will attend.
Networking opportunities
Showlight has an unrivalled programme of social events and plenty of networking opportunities. In addition to the exhibition area, you will socialise with delegates at receptions and dinners and during the half-day visits programme. With a total attendance of roughly 300-350, everyone gets time to meet with old friends and to initiate important new contacts and friendships.
Value for money
All stands are the same size – there’s no room for truckloads of equipment and no need for a large budget. Most exhibitors bring a few sample products – our rule of thumb is that the display material should fit into the back of an estate car!
User feedback opportunities
The exhibition stands facilitate much closer personal contact with entertainment lighting users and specifiers than any of the large-scale trade shows. Stands are closed during conference sessions so that your personnel can participate in these events.
Exlusive
The exhibition area is not large and exhibitor numbers are limited; space is allocated on a first come first served basis.
Time to talk
The exhibition offers the ideal opportunity for you to present your products, on a one-to-one basis, to the most prominent international personalities from our industries.
Sponsor a student
Exhibitors are asked to sponsor a lighting student who will be their assistant for the duration of Showlight. This is a unique opportunity for exhibitors to invest in the lighting designers of the future by giving them access to a wealth of industry information and contacts – and to learn in return from the fresh ideas of the latest generation of lighting practitioners!
