With a reputation for being 'different' Showlight's conference programme of around 25 papers is presented by a real mix of industry people talking about their work and ideas, most of whom will stay for the whole of Showlight to socialise and enjoy discussing lighting with delegates. Supported by a focused exhibition of 40 companies, Showlight is fun and informative - no hard sells, no mind-numbing seminars and no hidden costs!

The 2009 programme covers the past, the present and the future of performance and architectural lighting, with papers from a truly international mix of people, including Fred Foster of ETC, Alex Wardle of Arup, freelance lighting director Bernie Davies, American lighting designer Jim Tetlow and director of photography Roberto Schaefer ASC, the BBC's Joe Breslin and Paul Collison on the Beijing Olympic ceremonies.

From the Welcome Drinks reception for those arriving on the Saturday evening from 6pm, to the close of the event on the Tuesday at 4.15pm, Showlight offers unmissable value for money. The full delegate package costs just £180 inclusive of VAT, which includes access to all the papers, the trade show, full participation in the visits programme, lunch and refreshments throughout the day and a place at the main Conference Dinner on Monday.
