Key information
Network with speakers, exhibitors, delegates and students from across all fields of lighting.
Showlight takes place once every four years, always in a different location. Next stop is Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic, May 2013.
Our venue is a fairy tale castle in this traffic free, UNESCO Heritage Site. Travel to Český Krumlov is easy, with six flights a day from Heathrow to Prague plus direct flights from other UK and major European cities. From Prague airport, dedicated Showlight buses will run directly to the venue.
"As the MD of a small business, nearly five days out of my working week represents a big decision. The (2009) event was everything it promised and more. A chance to consider the experiences of those at the top of their field, some thought provoking presentations and a fantastic humorous balance."
David Amphlett, Gekko Technology
"Showlight is always the most refreshing and revitalising industry event. We met new friends, reaffirmed relationships and learned new approaches to old problems. MA Lighting will remain a firm fan and supporter of this unique event."
Philip Norfolk, MA Lighting (2009 Exhibitor)
"I've never been to such a diverse and interesting symposium about lighting. It was a true pleasure to listen to the experiences and ideas about light. I really enjoyed and was stimulated by the entire experience. I hope that I can join in again the next time."
Roberto Schaefer ASC (Speaker 2009)
"I first attended Showlight as a speaker in 2005 and was so impressed that I came back as a delegate, and I have not been disappointed. It's wonderful to be part of this unique event."
Ken Billington, Lighting Designer
"We felt very privileged to be involved as the main sponsor for Showlight 2009. Thank you for putting together such a fantastic inspiring show."
Jessica Allan, Martin Professional (Main sponsor and exhibitor 2009)
